Michelin Bib Mousse The puncture-proof alternative to the inner tube. The MICHELIN Bib Mousse is a foam rubber ring that replaces the inner tube and corresponds to an air pressure of approximately 0.9 bar when new. The MICHELIN Bib Mousse has been specially developed for off-road competition (motocross, enduro or rally) and fits exclusively on MICHELIN tires. It is not recommended to mount the MICHELIN Bib Mousse on tires from other brands. The MICHELIN Bib Mousse is marked NHS (Not for Highway Service) and is therefore not designed for use on public roads. It must not be stored permanently at temperatures above 30°C and temperatures above 40°C should be avoided as a matter of principle. The MICHELIN Bib Mousse has a maximum lifespan of 6 months from the date of installation and 18 months from the date of manufacture. However, this can be significantly reduced in the case of very demanding use. A tube of gel is supplied in the packaging. It is used to reduce the heat caused by friction between the tire and the Bib Mousse.
