Dirko™ HT red Dirko™ HT red (acetic curing) is a high-quality, high-temperature resistant, permanently elastic, single-component silicone-based sealant. It has very good adhesion to all common metals, cast iron, plastics (except PE, PP and PTFE) and glass. By reacting with the moisture in the air, Dirko™ cures into a transparent silicone. The product is characterized by a very wide range of applications. Product technical information: Chemical base: Acetoxy-silicone Curing: Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) Components: Single-component Color: red Consistency: Pasty, stable, permanently elastic when cured Temperature range: -60°C to +300°C (up to +315°C for 24h) Maximum sealing gap: 2.0 mm pH value: Neutral Electrical conductivity: Insulating Resistance to mineral oils (even with additives), synthetic oils, lubricating greases, coolants, UV rays, cold and hot water, salt water, cleaning products, weak acids and bases. Possible areas of application: valve cover, oil pan, water and oil pump differential housing, gearbox housing, gearbox oil pan Thermostat housing, control unit housing Axle cover Flange gasket, headlight, taillight, battery box.
