Plug-in upgrade for the electronic advance ignition of recent Harleys, microprocessor-controlled for extremely precise management of the entire ignition process Allows adaptation of the advance curve and rev limiter to the specific needs of the engine; four built-in advance curves cover the requirements of stock to highly modified engines under various conditions; four independent rev limiter choices from 6,000 to 7,500 rpm for optimal protection PC programming allows setting the full and partial throttle advance curve, rev limits, idle speed, and rear cylinder offset Separate tachometer output wire for accurate tachometer operation during rev limiting and in single-fire mode Diagnostic LED indicator included on the back of the control module to facilitate troubleshooting and static timing Made in the USA IMPORTANT: For any electronic advance ignition such as Dyna 2000-HD1 or stock Harley ignition, use carbon fiber suppression ignition wires to reduce radio interference. Copper wires may cause malfunctions. The original Harley-Davidson wire is suitable. Not compatible with fuel-injected models. HDE systems are not compatible with Dyna "S" systems. Use only HD1/HD2 systems.
