Product details

EBC brake discs. MADE IN THE UK. The development goal is to improve braking behavior compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses low carbon HPSR steel, which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. Furthermore, the entire surface is protected by a 3-micron thick zinc layer, which grinds off in the area of the brake pad contact zone during braking. It is only in this area that a slight rust film can form over a longer service life. The brake discs are drilled in the bird swing design in order to get by with as few holes as possible and at the same time optimize the cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust. The fewer drilled holes, the better the braking behavior on wet ground and the less wear. - Rigid brake disc. - Made from low carbon rolled HPSR steel. - Drilled braking surface with optimized hole pattern. - Radially ground. - Galvanized to protect against corrosion. - EBC recommends EBC organic brake pads or for sporty riders the EBC Double-H sintered brake pads. - Independent design.
