Product details

EBC brake discs. MADE IN THE UK. The development goal is to improve braking behavior compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses low-carbon HPSR steel, whose friction coefficient is 18% higher. This steel is much more rust-resistant than cast steel. Furthermore, the entire surface is protected by a 3-micron thick zinc layer, which grinds into the area of the brake pad contact zone during braking. It is only in this zone that a slight rust film can form over a longer lifespan. The brake discs are drilled in a bird-shaped design in order to get by with the fewest holes possible and at the same time optimize cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust. The fewer drilled holes, the better the braking behavior on wet surfaces and the less wear. - Rigid brake disc. - Made from low-carbon rolled HPSR steel. - Braking surface drilled with optimized hole pattern. - Radially ground. - Galvanized to protect against corrosion. - EBC recommends EBC organic brake pads or for sport riders EBC Double-H sintered brake pads. - Independent design.
