EBC Stainless Steel Brake Disc

EBC HPSR brake disc, rigid model. MADE IN THE UK. The development goal is to improve braking performance compared to the original disc. EBC uses low-carbon HPSR steel, which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. Furthermore, the entire surface is protected by a 3-micron thick zinc layer that wears off during braking in the contact area of the brake pads. It is only in this area that superficial rust can form during prolonged use. The brake discs are drilled in a bird-wing shape to have as few holes as possible while optimizing the cleaning of the disc from rainwater and brake dust.
