EBC Stainless steel front brake disc

EBC MX brake disc for offroad / enduro and MTB. MADE IN THE UK. The development goal is to improve braking behavior compared to the original brake disc. EBC uses low-carbon HPSR steel, which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. Furthermore, the entire surface is protected by a 3-micron thick zinc layer, which wears down in the area of the brake pad contact zone during braking. It is only in this zone that a slight rust film can form with a longer lifespan. The brake discs are drilled in a bird wing design in order to get by with the fewest possible holes while simultaneously optimizing the cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust.
