Clutch cover gaskets are manufactured from AFM material, a chemically expanded synthetic nitrile rubber, bonded to an aluminum core The aluminum core gives the gasket strength for superior sealing and prevents any leakage or displacement in modern engine cases with reduced sealing surfaces No sealant required for installation Time-saving during maintenance: AFM does not adhere to the engine case, quick and easy replacement, no more scraping needed AFM is a composite synthetic nitrile rubber, bonded to an aluminum core, resistant to over 250 °F; it offers 85% recovery while maintaining high torque retention No sealant or silicone bead required, no re-tightening necessary Made in the USA EU: AFM is a composite synthetic nitrile rubber bonded to an aluminum core, resistant to over 121 °C; 85% recovery while retaining high torque retention.
