Athena cylinder kit For more than 10 years, Athena has invested in the best and most advanced technologies for the production of cylinders and their components, which are used not only by original equipment manufacturers, but also by the best racing teams in the world. Finally, aluminum cylinder production is constantly improved through collaboration with the best Italian universities and permanent development requests from the best engine tuners. Thanks to a flexible production department, Athena can effectively respond to different situations (OE manufacturer production batches, small quantities, building a prototype for racing teams). Athena cylinders are made from high-quality aluminum alloys. They are manufactured using the latest technologies and coated with a nickel-silicon alloy. After passing strict quality controls, all cylinders meet the highest standards for reliability, durability and performance. Features: - Special 3D software is capable of generating virtual simulations and mechanical loads. - Aluminum cylinders are cast in steel molds and manufactured with CNC machines (tolerances on the order of thousandths of a millimeter can thus be guaranteed at all stages of production). - Revision of water channels to increase capacity - Cylinder liners are made from a special mixture of silicon carbide and nickel to ensure the best piston mileage and cylinder durability. - Tested at an internal temperature of about 20 degrees, for optimal inspection of bores and cylinders. - Cylinder surfaces are perfectly flat to eliminate any fitting inaccuracy.
