Athena big bore cylinder kits guarantee a performance increase, visible across the entire power curve, while maintaining reliability equivalent to that of original components.
The kit includes the high-quality aluminum cylinder with increased bore, the cylinder head, the dome-head piston with pin and rings, as well as all necessary gaskets.
All kit components have been developed to withstand the highest temperatures, pressures and stresses and have been validated by Athena technicians during rigorous bench and road tests.
This cylinder kit can be installed without any modification to the engine crankcase.
ATTENTION! All Athena products must be used in accordance with the national regulations in force in the Member State where they are marketed. Athena declines all responsibility in case of non-compliant use.
TECHNICAL ADVICE: The kit is supplied with a piston pin of Ø 10 mm like the original. Considering the mechanical stresses, we recommend installing the kit with a piston pin of Ø 12 mm. In this case, we advise you to replace the original crankshaft with our crankshaft with a piston pin of Ø 12 mm.
ATTENTION: The cylinder head and base gaskets contained in the kit are specifically designed for Athena cylinder kits. In case of disassembly of the cylinder kit, replace the gaskets with the specific Athena replacement gasket kit: Do NOT use original replacement gaskets.
