The reinforced Malossi Thrust Springs, made of silicon alloy steel, ranging from softest to hardest, allow for more precise tuning by acting on acceleration and pickup.
Greater resistance for a more linear contraction contributes to optimizing variator performance.
Therefore, the thrust spring is changed to compensate for variator traction; if the spring is too hard, there will be a loss of power (less speed), if the spring is too soft, there will be less pickup.
For a stock engine or with a few parts (exhaust, carburetor, variator), choose a white spring, slightly harder.
For a tuned engine, install a yellow spring.
With aluminum kits or racing engines, a red spring.
