Product details
Malossi reinforced torque springs, made of silicon alloy steel, ranging from softest to hardest, allow for more precise adjustments by acting on acceleration and pickup.
More resistance for a more linear contraction contributes to optimizing variator performance.
The torque spring is therefore changed to compensate for variator pull; if the spring is too hard, there will be a loss of power (less speed), if the spring is too soft there will be less pickup.
For a stock engine or with a few parts (exhaust, carburetor, variator) choose a white spring, slightly harder
For a tuned engine, fit a yellow spring
With aluminum kits or racing engines, a red spring
