V-belt pulley NARAKU [HS-CNC] - CPI/Keeway/Generic From a construction point of view, the original V-belt pulley with the drive star is a rather 'unfortunate' variant. The star pulley is simply too thin to transmit the forces acting on the belt pulley without wear. It is not uncommon for the pulley to break. The result is often a detached pulley with fatal consequences or a destroyed crankshaft. The NARAKU HS-CNC pulley remedies this situation, with a positive side effect. The pulley is continuously toothed and can thus completely do without the star pulley. In addition, the CNC-machined running surface of the pulley ensures clean and vibration-free operation of the belt. The flank wrap has been adapted and also allows for increased speed. For good power transmission, the toothing has been machined with minimal tolerances. During installation, please note that the pulley can be mounted tighter on the crankshaft if the toothing has already been damaged by the original star pulley. 3.
